Templeton was started by like-minded professionals with a view to build a Home for advisors who are looking for a place to call it theirs. At Templeton, we believe, as advisors we should only ‘control the controllables’ and work on providing advice that is second to none.

Rob is a Financial Services Professional specialising in delivering industry-leading Dealer Group Services to Financial Planners and Risk Advisers. For the last 21 years, Rob has held Senior or CEO positions in 4 different Dealer Groups and is in a unique position to both understand the needs of Financial Planners, and what is required to successfully Manage a Business and meet Compliance regulations.
Rob’s reputation across the Industry is one of “Trust”, that he delivers on promises and genuinely cares for Advisers and their families.
Rob is married, a keen golfer, an ex-rugby player and these days follows his children from one sporting arena to the next.
Probably, one of the few in the industry to move from a top-heavy compliance background to starting his own advice business, Chandar is a thoroughbred compliance professional with over 20 years in the financial planning industry. Chandar has worked in all sizes of businesses ranging from a big conglomerate (AMP, CBA) to a small boutique Licensee in all facets of the business ranging from office administration to technology to compliance and remediation. With a very good understanding of how to balance compliance needs with commercial realities, Chandar believes, a license role is to manage risks and not compliance. With a practical and easy to follow compliance approach, Chandar firmly believes that form over substance is not a ticket to freedom, in fact is counter-productive. An avid golfer and a born cricket-tragic, Chandar understands challenges faced by an adviser in their quest to provide quality advice, having seen it from both sides of the fence. Chandar, manages regulatory aspect of the AFSL. In addition, he also provides compliance consultancy to other boutique licensees. Chandar is married for 25 years with 2 children.
Shivi has worked in banking and financial services in
many roles since 2002. She is a passionate thinker,
strategist, and a visionary. She has successfully
managed her mortgage business Provida Finance for
over 15 years. She is a proud founder of Brighter
Minds South pacific, an organisation dedicated to
cognitive learning. Shivi brings depth of
understanding in areas of finance, marketing,
human resources. She believes that education and
continual improvement are the centrepiece of every
Shivi likes to challenge herself and everyone around her to work with unlimited potential mindset. Besides running a few successful businesses, she loves cooking, dancing, gardening, and yoga. She loves community work and is an active member of a local Rotary club. She likes to help clients, staff, and her community. Her inspiration is her beautiful daughter Neeve.
